2022 Fisker Ocean hits an impressive number of reservations. The EV market has become very competitive, and tagging along with Fisker’s new all-electric Ocean SUV as the world’s most sustainable EV, the brand is confident enough to keep the demand going. The carmaker recently revealed that total reservations for the 2022 electric SUV have already exceeded 50,000.
The Electric SUV has a starting price of $37,499, and it is proving that demand does exist. The automaker is getting ready to produce the Ocean at a carbon-neutral factory in Austria, with a production date targeted as early as Nov. 17, 2022. Meanwhile, Fisker will unveil the PEAR (Personal Electric Automotive Revolution) in the second half of 2023 and will start the production a year after. The brand expects to commence prototype testing at the end of 2022. The brand has already received more than 3,200 for the PEAR.
The sporty crossover is smaller than the Ocean. The PEAR will feature the Fisker Houdini trunk, Fisker SolarSky panoramic roof, along with a super-low beltline and side window. Available in RWD and AWD setups with four trims of option packages, the PEAR will offer two battery packs, and the former should return over 310 miles.
