Overview
2022 Land Rover Range Rover Sport serves the sort of opulence and prestige to the one who can’t afford the top-tier original. The SUV has a lower base price with few compromises, all models come standard with AWD and Land Rover’s signature off-road capability. The Sport’s cabin is comfortable, luxurious, and spacious.
What’s New?
Land Rover took down the diesel and plug-in-hybrid powertrains from the Sport’s lineup this year. This leaves only the turbocharged inline-six as the sole offering. Another change is new USB-C ports for charging and connecting devices. The interior has almost the same dimensions as the full-size Range Rover model, where both share the same 11.5-inch wheelbase, giving more rear-seat space to the Sport. The rear-seat air-conditioning vents and controls are standard, along with heated rear seats.

The build quality is awesome, with soft surfaces and controls which look and feel premium. The Range Rover’s infotainment and climate systems are controlled by two large 10.0-inch touchscreens. The design is wildly modern and eye-catching, urging anyone to touch it every time they see it. The interface is user-friendly with simple menus and clean graphics, but a tad bit slower in responding to user inputs. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration are standard, also there’s another 12.3-inch screen in front of the driver acting as a fully configurable digital gauge cluster.
