The 2022 GLC300 has some new standard features and fresh options. The features include automatic high beams, USB ports for second-row passengers, parking damage detection, and a USB-C adaptive cable. The Premium package now adds a passive hands-free entry, and the color shade now adds Starling Blue metallic. The interior consists of attractive materials, excellent build quality, and comfortable passenger seating. Mercedes also equipped the GLC with luxurious standard equipment which includes power-adjustable front seats with heated cushions and dual-zone climate control.

The SUV can also be upgraded with leather surfaces, HUD, rear heated seats, ventilated front seats, etc. But sadly, GLC lacks cargo capacity, measuring 19 cubic feet behind the rear seats. Benz does give the GLC an infotainment system benefiting from a variety of control inputs and sophisticated features. The standard 10.25-inch touchscreen runs with the latest MBUX software which can also respond to voice commands. The system can also be operated by touch-sensitive controls on the steering wheel or a mostly interactive touchpad on the center console.

Under the hood lies a 255-hp turbocharged four-cylinder coupled with a nine-speed automatic is the GLC300′s standard powertrain. By default, the RWD is set, but AWD or 4Matic; is optional. The AMG-tuned version has the maximum engagement, but the GLC300 delivers a smooth and quiet ride. The 0-60 mph run time is just 5.4 seconds, along with a top speed of 131 mph.

The 2022 GLC300 with its standard RWD layout starts at $44,900. But, opting for the 4Matic AWD system costs an additional $2000. The upgrades one should stick with, are the Leather Seating package, swapping the faux-leather upholstery, and the ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel.
