What’s New For 2022 ?

For the 2022, Porsche adds the infamous GTS trim to the 911 lineup with it’s 473 hp twin-turbo flat six and eight speed manual and seven speed DCT with rear or all wheel drive. It’s available in all three body styles with a specially tuned suspension and 20 inch front and 21 inch rear wheels with large iron brake rotors just like it’s older sibling, the 911 turbo. It will also offer a lightweight package which cuts down the rear seat and adds carbon fibre seats in front and buckets in the rear and adds rear wheel steering. And the 2022 911 gets the latest Porsche infotainment software with Android Auto. And to celebrate 50 years of Porsche design, a limited edition with 750 of the 911 Targa will be offered.

The 2022 911 is powered by a 3.0 Litre twin-turbocharged flat six engine underneath. The base Carrera makes 379 hp while the S makes 443 hp and the GTS which makes an astonishing 473 hp. Every model comes with an eight speed automatic transmission the much loved seven speed manual stays with the S and GTS models. Both the coupe and the convertible models comes with the rear wheel drive with an optional all wheel drive while the Targa is all wheel drive only.

Regardless of which model you choose from you feel a terrific athleticism which you’ve never have experienced yet. With a potent twin-turbo flat six, it is certainly capable to leave you restless and lose your mind. It’s quick with accelerating from 0-60 mph in an insane 2.8 seconds with launch control and can achieve a top speed of 193 mph. The base Carrera S which is the most fuel efficient with it’s manual transmission and delivers a mileage of 18 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway, and the models above and below that have their fuel economy figures similar to what the Carrera S has.
