2023 Acura TLX All Price, Mileage, Top Speed, 0-60 And Specification

All Details & Features Of 2023 Acura TLX

The 2023 Acura TLX isn’t the best choice if you want a good sports sedan that performs well as well as good to sit in. Instead, it offers a premium design with a good-looking exterior and a fancy interior and offers balanced performance for the price. With the beautiful design, the TLX offers both a 272-hp turbo-four and a 355-hp twin-turbo V6 option for its models. All models come paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox with front or optional all-wheel drive. For the price, the Acura TLX handles way better than one might think and deliver a light and decent performance. Its communicative, responsive and comes out as a good alternative for the boring sedans you’ll find in the segment.

What’s New

By 2023, Acura added new three color options with the Type S PMC Edition, which were available on the NSX. The Exterior PMC includes a new Berlina Black roof, door handles, antenna, and exhaust tips. Acura has added new copper-painted 20-inch alloy wheels similar to the NSX on the Type S model. The Type S PMC Edition offers a new carbon fiber decklid spoiler, rear diffuser, and interior trim made out of it.

Engine Specifications & Performance

The new Acura TLX comes with two powertrain options with different configurations to choose from. The base trim offers a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 272 horsepower. The Type S trim comes with a more powerful 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that produces a good 355 horsepower. Both powertrains come with standard front-wheel drive and a 10-speed automatic gearbox. The all-wheel drive is optional on both trims but it helps in providing more grip and offers agile driving. The car’s heavy weight sure hurts its speed but the TLX still manages to go from 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds.

The Type S trim on the other hand is quick and offers sportier performance with its stickier tires and improved suspension. It is more grudging, engaging, and fun to drive and offers impressive body control and strong braking. The new Acura TLX does not offer a good overall performance like the BMWs and the Audis. It can provide a meaningful and comfortable ride quality despite a little noisy cabin when hit with some bumps.

The TLX is not a compact car with its good wheelbase but still offers a crunchy space for passengers in the rear seats with less room. Its weight sure provides a good center of gravity and delivers a confident agile driving, but that sure decreases the acceleration. The car is slow compared to the German rivals Audi and BMW.
