The 2023 luxury cruiser from Bentley is getting sharpened. The 2023 Continental GT S and convertible GTC S, are the new submodels that are catered for improving the driving performance and visual presence. The S trim is only available with the 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8; whereas the twin-turbo 6.0L W-12 was not included due to its bulky weight. The GT S and GTC S get sharper cosmetic accents helping the exquisite coupe stand out, where the mechanicals remain the same. The performance figures are also unchanged, this means a hearty 542 hp and 770 Nm of torque are produced.

Design & Pricing

The 0-60 mph run is just 3.4 seconds, highly impressive for a car of such weight. As the engine is the same, the S comes equipped with a standard sports exhaust making all the noise amplified that the V8 is producing. For the appearance, the grille and all other exterior trims are blacked out, this includes the S badge, with only the Bentley logo and lettering remaining in chrome. With tinted headlights and taillights, the quad exhaust pipe is blacked-out too.

The S variant is available with two-wheel choices i.e., a 22-inch wheel painted in either black or Pale Brodgar Satin, or a 21-inch design featuring both black and bright finishes. The Red-painted brake calipers give a nice contrast from behind the new wheel designs. For the interior, there is a two-tone look, plenty of opulent materials, embroidered S badges on the headrest, and adorning dashboard and door sills. Bentley has not revealed the price, but we expect it will cost somewhere around the standard V8 model’s $220,525 starting price and the Speed‘s $280,225 base price, and an added $20,000 for the convertible to start.
