2023 Chevrolet Colorado: The Upscale Pickup of 2023

The All-New 2023 Colorado isn’t just for people who want more. The Colorado comes with five different variants. Colorado ZR2 is the off-road beast designed to conquer next-level adventures. The 2.7L Turbo High-Output engine makes 310 HP. Colorado Z71 will get you back in style and comfort. The Z71 comes with a 2.7L Turbo Plus engine and also makes 310 HP. Next comes the trail boss which is designed for off roading. It also comes with the same engine and makes a similar horses. The LT comes in line bringing both comfort and technology to the pickup. It provides you with comfort but it lags in performance. It makes around 237 HP with the same 2.7 L Turbo Engine. The WT model joins the list with the humongous towing capacity. The pickup can make an easy 237 HP.

What’s New?

The exterior of the car has been updated making it look more modern. The interior is vastly improved maximizing the comfort for the passenger. There will now be option for an all-wheel-drive and the two-wheel is standard for all models. Every new Colorado gets a large 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen as standard equipment, the biggest display in the segment.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

The 2.7 L engine is common to all variants but with a different turbos. The ZR2 come with the High-Output Engine whereas the Z71 and Trail Boss comes with a Turbo Plus engine. The WT model comes with a clean 2.7 L Turbo Engine. The ZR2 makes the most HP marked at a nice 310 HP, highest for the pickup. The Z71 and Trail Boss also makes similar horses. The LT and WT variant makes around 237 HP. All the pickups comes with a common eight speed automatic transmission.

Fuel Economy and Mileage

Till date there has been no official information for the American Manufacturer about its Fuel Economy and Mileage. The pickup is expected to have a mileage of a little over 22 mpg in city a above 26 on highway.

Towing Capacity

The Colorado offers the most towing in the mid-size pickup segment, with a max capacity of 7700 pounds. While the 237-hp base engine found in WT and LT trims manages just 3500 pounds of heave.
