2023 Honda CR-V All Prices, Top Speed, 0-60 mph And Specifications

2023 Honda CR-V arrived with a whole new appearance inside and out giving a better statement of panache. This new personality will make it better to do battle in the brutal competitive compact-SUV segment. With grander proportions and more passenger space, the newly designed CR-V aims to deliver even more of its trademarked feasibility. The interior design is attractive complemented by modern tech and touches. This includes an infotainment system with a 9.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. Also, every CR-V again is a host of standard driver assists that include adaptive cruise, lane-keeping assist, and, blind-spot monitoring. The 190-hp turbo-four is the standard engine, while a 204-hp hybrid is optional. Both can be paired with either front- or all-wheel drive.

What’s New?

The 2023 CR-V is now in the sixth generation. As it comes with a slew of improvements, it is now larger overall, has sporty exterior styling, and has a roomier interior. The design is more refined and fancier. Honda claims that the standard turbo-four engine has been retuned to be both more responsive and efficient. Also, the continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) and all-wheel-drive system are said to be improved versus the outgoing model’s.

Behind the CR-V’s new modern grille rests a standard 190-hp turbocharged 1.5-liter four-pot. It is paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) with either front- or all-wheel drive. The setup is standard on EX and EX-L models. The Sport and Sport Touring only comes with a hybrid powertrain, combined with a turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder with two electric motors that deliver 204 horses.

However, the Sport can be had with front- or all-wheel drive, while the latter is standard on the Sport Touring. Every model has hill-descent control helping modulate the SUV’s speed on steep or slippery declines when traveling at low speeds. A set of new 18-inch wheels are fitted to most models, with the Sport featuring the black ones. While the Sport Touring gets exclusive 19-inches painted in gloss black. The hybrid models are rated to tow 1000 pounds for the first time.

This excellent presentation is offset by Honda’s frustrating infotainment system. The base LX models come with a 5.0-inch color radio screen, but all other models get a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and SiriusXM satellite radio; navigation is optional, as is a nine-speaker audio system.

The EX and EX-L are gas-only models. The Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid come exclusively with hybrid powertrains. The FWD CR-V Hybrid Sport is the one we would recommend getting, as the Hybrid gets an EPA-estimated 43 mpg in the city, beating the RAV4 Hybrid’s city rating. This also comes with stylish black exterior accents, black 18-inch wheels, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
