The 2023 Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV will take the step forward with the already popular EQS sedan in a high-seating form. The upcoming EQS SUV will look just as similar to its sedan counterparts in terms of body style and other components. It will provide the best-in-class comfort and even better performance in an all-wheel driving luxury performance SUV. The EQS has already made its name in proving pure comfort and peak performance intact in a smooth and silent driving experience. It is stated to be as charming and appealing as the sedan. The EQE will sport a much larger appearance and broadened appeal with a similar wheelbase. Just like the Mercedes lineup, it will come with two models with different configurations set up to fit every customer’s needs. Both models will come with some standard features to fit the price but will offer both rear and all-wheel-drive setups.
What’s New For 2023?
Just like the latest EQE, the 2023 EQS SUV will be joining the brand’s latest flagship electric lineup. We expect it to hit the dealerships later at the end of 2022.
Specifications, 0-60 MPH, Top Speed & Performance
As you would expect from the flagship Mercedes electric car, the new EQS SUV is a no-brainer. It packs a beautiful feature-rich interior with the brand’s signature looks and feels adding more pleasure to your ride. It will come with two models with different configurations to add variety. Being an electric SUV comes with various perks like a more spacious cabin and one of the best driving fun in a car. The car is expected to reach a 60 mph mark in less than 4 seconds flattening out at over 155 mph It provides the same silent enjoyment mated with superior handling and responsive steering feedback which helps to maintain good grip during corners. You will just enjoy the high-seating position, comfortable and quiet cabin with great space, and thrilling performance that will blow your mind.
Battery: Range & Charging
Although Mercedes hasn’t listed any claims about the range of the 2023 EQS SUV, it will likely deliver something similar to the EQS sedan. The car will sport a 107 kWh battery rated to deliver around 350 miles of range. It will come with similar fast charging technology to charge in 31 minutes from 10-80 percent.
Exterior & Interior
The pricing of the new EQS hasn’t been revealed by Mercedes. We expect the entry-level EQS480+ to start at around $114,000 and the top-spec EQS580 to start at around $130,000. These are only our estimates, but we think the new SUV will come at a very similar price due to their flagship spec. We will update you regarding the pricing when the brand announces it.
