Overview
The 2023 Nissan Altima debuts with fresher looks and better tech. The 2023 Nissan Altima receives a better-looking front fascia along with a handful of tech upgrades. It is a mildly facelifted version of the 6th generation model is on sale currently. Coming to the highlights, the new Altima gets a larger black grille, redesigned headlamps, and a set of new 19-inch alloys. While Nissan has not yet revealed the pricing, one can buy the new Altima in S, SV, SR, SL and SR VC-turbo trims.
Engine, Transmission, 0-60 MPH, Top-Speed & Performance
The 2023 Nissan Altima has a 2.0-litre turbo-four unit that pushes out 248 hp and a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder unit in two different states of tune. While the front-wheel-drive variant makes 188 hp. the all-wheel-drive variant offers 182 hp. Irrespective of the power units or drivetrains, the sedan comes with a CVT gearbox.
Exterior & Interior
The updated Altima sports a fresher version of Nissan’s V-motion grille. One can immediately notice the brand’s new logo on the grille. LED headlamps are now offered as standard across all the trims. The car also comes with 2 new colour options: Gray Sky Pearl and Garnett Pearl metallic. As for the rest of the vehicle’s exterior, it remains largely unchanged. On the inside, the new Altima gets mild updates. The 8.0-inch infotainment unit on the previous model is replaced by a bigger 12.3-inch infotainment system. The interior is spacious with a minimalistic dashboard, electronically adjustable driver’s seat, memory function, and dual-zone climate control. The 9-speaker Bose sound system will keep the audiophiles happy inside the cabin.
Pricing and availability:
Prices and availability of the trims will be announced at the time of the launch. However, it is expected that the facelifted model will carry a premium over the currently sold model which starts at $24,900 in the US.
