For 2023, the company has made changes to the powertrain and trim changes for the new Corolla. The SE and XLE trims add hybrid models with standard all-wheel drive and are optional for the SE and LE trims. The 169-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is standard on the base LE, and XLE trims which were restricted to SE, XSE, and Apex trims. All models get an updated cluster with a new bigger infotainment screen as standard on all models. All variants get the improved LED DRL and new headlights for the SE, XSE, and XLE models. The SE and XSE models add a new rear diffuser with new 18-inch Glossy Graphite wheels. The hatchback models get an improved front grille, LED headlamps, rear bumper, etc.
