The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla made its debut in March this year celebrating the return of the Toyota’s hot hatch in the US. The racy-looking hatchback is going on sale with official pricing for the buyers.
What are the trims offered?
Core
The 2023 GR Corolla to start at around $35,900 for the base for the Core trim where 5,000 units will be assembled for the American market. The hot hatch comes with standard sports seats in three exterior paint options. Buyers will have the option to buy the Cold Weather that icludes heated front seats and steering wheel. The Technology package offers a navigation system with an upgraded audio system and wireless smartphone charging.
Circuit
The mid-tier Circuit trim will cost around $42,900 which will be available only for the 2023 model year being the one-year launch version. The trim adds standard limited-slip differential on both rear and front axles, carbon fiber roof, synthetic leather upholstery, premium stereo system, etc. The Circuit trim being only a one-year model will be limited to only 1,500 examples.
Morizo Edition
The top-of-the-line Morizo Edition will start for $49,900. The top-spec Morizo Edition produces more torque than the other two models and also offers reduced weight. The Weight Reduction packages remove the rear seats, rear speakers, rear window regulators, rear wiper motors, and blades. Toyota didn’t mention the production numbers of the Morizo Edition, we will update when we have the full information.

Engine Specifications –
The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla will pack a 1.6-liter 3-cylinder engine making 300 hp (224 KW) and 273 lb-ft of torque (370 Nm). The Morizo Edition produces an increased 295 lb-ft of torque (400 Nm) thanks to more performance tuning and weight reduction. The hot hatch will come paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox that will power all four wheels.
