Overview
2023 Toyota Sequoia will arrive in dealerships this summer. Available in various trims and color options, is a great hybrid SUV for a family. Starting at $59,795, the automaker has now announced the pricing for the trim levels: SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone.
What’s New?
The Sequoia is available in White, Celestial Silver, Lunar Rock, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Blueprint, Army Green, Midnight Black Metallic, and Smoked Mesquite color options. As a bonus, the TRD Pro is exclusively painted in the shade of Solar Octane. Wind Chill Pearl and Supersonic Red are more premium paint hues that come at an extra cost. The SR5 is the entry-level trim and comes standard with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, moon roof, and heated seats. The TRD Sport package adds Bilstein monotube shocks, revised springs, and aluminum pedals. This also replaces the standard 18-inch wheels with a 20-inch in matte black finish.

The TRD Pro gets a 14-inch infotainment screen as standard, along with heated/ventilated front seats with memory settings, a heated steering wheel, power third row, hands-free liftgate, and manual sunshades for the second and third row. The SR5 and Limited offer a choice of TRD Off-Road package. This adds a locking rear differential, Multi-Terrain traction control, downhill assist, crawl control, an off-road-focused camera system, a red front axle driveshaft, and an 18-inch wheel unique to this package.

Engine, Performance & 0-60 mph
All the trims of Sequoia are equipped with a 3.5L twin-turbo hybrid V6 producing 437 hp and 790 Nm of torque. The gearbox choice is a 10-speed automatic. Customers can select the rear or four-wheel drive. The SUV can tow up to 4,318 kilograms and has a 0-60 mph run time of six seconds.
The Platinum trim level is limited by including features like heated and ventilated second-row captain seats, a 14-speaker stereo, panoramic moonroof, head-up display, Qi wireless charging, and rain-sensing wipers. The TRD Pro is for ones who intend to off-road, and it only comes with AWD. Finally, the Capstone is the top-of-the-line trim level including all the features from the Platinum and even more. It has power boards and floats on 22-inch wheels in chrome finish. The only grade of the Sequoia has acoustic glass in the front doors to provide better sound dampening.
