2024 BMW 5 Series Spotted With Full Camouflage In Public

Overview

BMW has always been the front runner in showing its camouflaged test vehicles in public. That’s why so much of their sightings can be seen before coming to the market. Now, we have captured a generation 5 series of BMW this time, camouflaged with the high camo wraps. It means we can see some new details on the front side, mainly with the grille.

The vertical bars are clearly visible now, and a close look shows an outline identical to present 5 model. The angles on the bottom are shallower and a bit more angle to the upper corners. As a result, grille dips a bit lower. The headlights look pretty same, as a production spec. They will be slimmer, but nothing like those on the 7 Series. It means we can’t expect split-light configuration, although it could have a square chin like the 7 Series.

There are still no clues whether this prototype will be offered as a hybrid or a fully-electric vehicle. We know that BMW will offer new 5 Series in both formats in addition with the internal combustion. In all the possibilities, the car seen here is a standard-issue 5 Series containing a combustion engine with exhaust neatly hidden beneath the car.

We haven’t seen anything related to the interior design or power outputs till now. We shown a largely covered 5 Series interior, and as expected it will receive a major digital makeover with screens galore. As par with the performance, the new M5 could pack a 700 hp punch with a plug-in hybrid setup.

Despite the reveal of prototypes, its unlike that it will come anytime soon. Our sources believe the camo could debut in first quarter of 2023, with standard 5 Series coming in 2024. Various hybrid iterations and the hot M5 would follow later.
