2024 BMW M5 Spied With Thinner Camouflage

The 2024 BMW M5 will feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain paired with a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. BMW M workshop manager, Hans Rahn confirmed the upcoming M5 will offer a PHEV solution with the S68 engine. It is the same specs as the X7 facelift and the new 7-Series comes with the XM to follow. The BMW M5 has been spotted with “Electrified Vehicle” stickers on both front doors and rear bumpers.

Design

The AMG E63 rival has been spotted with final makeovers to the car. The new spy shots show the final design of the new headlights and taillights. We can see a new trunk lid spoiler with a large tip quad-exhaust we have seen before in the upcoming BMW XM. The front fenders are equipped with massive brakes on both front and rear. While you hope for the usual suite from the super-sedan, the upcoming M5 will offer the full-fledged M specs. The car is heavily camouflaged, but we can expect the M5 to not offer the massive kidney grilles like the M3.

The grille is separated from the lower intake, while the car’s height has been substantially increased with more ground clearance. The 2024 BMW M5 will offer a charging port at the left front fender while the fuel cap remains at its traditional spot. When it will come?

If to believe the rumors, the upcoming M5 is scheduled to enter production after July 2024. According to reports, BMW to also offering a potential M5 Touring (G99) in the US which will enter production possibly in November of the same year. The standard 5-Series Sedan will come a new design and a long wheelbase model (for Chinese markets).
