The SUV packs a powerful 3.3L 6-cylinder engine that delivers up to 340 horsepower. The CX-90 digs a similar design philosophy as its younger cousin, the CX-9 crossover but takes it further with a more spacious approach. The all-new Mazda CX-90 packs a newly refined 3.3L turbocharged straight-six engine paired with a 48V hybrid system. The CX-90 has an output of 240 hp with the lower spec models and 280 hp with the S trim models. Mazda will also offer a PHEV version of the CX-90 in the US markets similar to its CX-60 in the European markets. The new CX-90 PHEV will pack a turbocharged inline-4 engine paired with an electric motor that will make 323 horsepower. The SUV will pack a 17.8-kWh battery to power the electric motor and provide a good electric-only range. Mazda offers a standard 8-speed auto transmission with all-wheel drive on all models. The new Mazda CX-90 will be to do 0-60 mph in nearly 5 seconds mark and will deliver a smooth and reliable performance.
