All-new 2024 Porsche Panamera India price announced, starts at Rs 1.68 Crore
The new 2024 Porsche Panamera has been launched and the German marque has announced its flagship sports sedan’s price in India. The 2024 Panamera comes with a starting price of Rs 1.68 crore (ex-showroom, India). Currently, only the standard V6 variant has been introduced, and Porsche plans to commence official bookings in the last week of November 2023. The price is for the rear-wheel-drive V6 Panamera before adding any optional features.
2024 Porsche Panamera: Engine & Features
The 2024 Porsche Panamera packs a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 engine paired with an 8-speed PDK automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive. Porsche’s sports sedan offers a two-way adaptive rear spoiler. More power figures and technical specifications will come in a few months when the car will make its official launch.
The 2024 Porsche Panamera comes with several standard features in India. It includes 8-way adjustable electric seats, matrix LED headlights, 6 airbags, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and Porsche Communication Management with Navigation, Mobile Phone Preparation, Audio Interface, and Voice Control.
No Hybrid Panamera for India
Porsche will launch the more powerful V8 models soon in India. The carmaker will not offer any V6 or V8-hybrid models in India compared to its global spec model. Porsche made this decision due to the low demand for hybrid models in the country. The GTS trim of the Panamera will launch in India next year while the most powerful Turbo models will not arrive in India.
The 2024 Porsche Panamera will not feature the fully active suspension system in India, as it requires the high-voltage electrical system of the hybrid models. Instead, the Indian models will come with a semi-active air spring setup.
Executive Panamera Coming Soon
In addition to the regular wheelbase, an executive long-wheelbase model will also be available, given the previous version’s popularity in China. The long-wheelbase model has been extended by 150mm making the overall length 5.2 meters. It is expected that the new long-wheelbase Panamera will be introduced in India as well.
However, the Sport Turismo estate version will not be offered globally, as Porsche observed low demand worldwide. This body style will be limited to the Taycan model.
