In line with our electrified Cooper Electric hatchback, we proudly present the 2025 Mini Countryman Electric. This eco-friendly version comes equipped with a battery pack capable of a remarkable 240 miles per charge. The SE ALL4 model, featuring dual motors for all-wheel drive, takes the power up a notch to 308 horsepower. If you prefer a more budget-friendly option, the Countryman E model offers a single 201-hp electric motor driving the front wheels. Regardless of your choice, the Countryman Electric boasts a sleek exterior design and a well-appointed cabin loaded with entertaining features, including the iconic circular infotainment system.

The Countryman Electric marks an exciting addition to the Mini lineup, and it’s anticipated to hit the market in 2024, serving as a 2025 model. For those who aren’t quite ready to make the leap to electric, fear not, as the Countryman is still available with a gasoline engine.
Mini Countryman Electric Motor, Battery & Range
The Countryman Electric comes in two exciting variants to cater to different preferences. Firstly, there’s the base E trim, featuring a robust 201-hp electric motor on the front axle. However, if you’re craving more power, the S E ALL4 model steps in with dual motors and all-wheel drive, boasting an impressive 313 horsepower. This upgrade translates to a notably quicker acceleration, with Mini claiming the dual-motor SE can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.6 seconds, while the front-wheel-drive single-motor E takes a still respectable 8.6 seconds to achieve the same feat.
The Countryman Electric boasts a battery pack that promises a range of up to 240 miles, specifically for the front-wheel-drive E variant. Opting for the more robust all-wheel-drive SE, however, trims that estimated to be around 225 miles per charge. Nevertheless, when compared to its competitors, like the Kia Niro EV and the Tesla Model Y, both of which offer greater driving range within the same price range, the Countryman Electric falls slightly short.
Mini Countryman Electric Mileage
As of now, both the EPA and Mini haven’t provided fuel-economy estimates for Countryman Electric. It’s probable that this electric model won’t match the efficiency of Mini’s smaller EV counterpart, the Cooper Electric hatchback.
