Here are the 4 upcoming Hyundai SUVs that are soon launching in India
Hyundai India is gearing up to introduce several new vehicles throughout 2024 including four new SUVs. This diverse quartet caters to a spectrum of needs, ensuring there’s a Hyundai SUV for every buyer. Each vehicle caters to a distinct audience, ensuring there’s a Hyundai SUV ready to fulfil your driving needs. These include the Creta N Line, facelifted Alcazar, facelifted Tucson, and the electric version of the Creta. Let’s delve into the details of each of these upcoming models:
1. Hyundai Tucson Facelift:
The mid-cycle update for the Tucson was introduced in international markets earlier and is set to make its way to India this year. This refresh will bring revisions to both the exterior and interior. The current 2.0L petrol and diesel powertrains will come as usual in the updated model.
2. Hyundai Creta N Line:
The performance-based version of the Creta will soon hit showrooms, featuring N Line-specific enhancements both on the exterior and interior. It will pack a refined and powerful 1.5L turbo petrol engine generating 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque. Buyers can expect both six-speed manual transmission and seven-speed DCT options.
3. Hyundai Alcazar Facelift:
Hyundai is revamping the Alcazar, with the refreshed model expected to launch shortly after the Creta N Line. The exterior design of the refreshed Alcazar is likely to align with the recently facelifted Creta closely. It will offer a nearly identical equipment lineup, including technologies like Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
4. Hyundai Creta EV:
Hyundai is also slated to launch a new midsize electric SUV, based on the Creta, towards the end of 2024. This electric vehicle is poised to compete with upcoming models like the Maruti Suzuki eVX, its Toyota counterpart, Tata Curvv, and top-spec Tata Nexon EV and MG ZS EV variants. It’s speculated to come equipped with a battery pack sourced from LG Chem, potentially offering a driving range of over 500 km.
