Overview
BMW 2 Series gets an update for its members as we are much awaiting the hyped M2(G87). Standard shift paddles and iDrive 8 are also on the list of novelties for the members. The base 2 Series Coupe is also a part of the extensive summer update, which also includes standard shift paddles on all four-cylinder versions.
What’s New?
Finally, for the M240i fanboys, it is getting a cheaper version after a long time of waiting. As already showed up in the BMW Deutschland configurator, the RWD M240i costs €56,000. With no power in the front axle, the sporty coupe takes an extra 0.4 seconds to complete the sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h). Hence, the job is now done in 4.7 seconds. BMW mentioned all the 2 Series Coupe produced from July will come with iDrive8 with its curved glass 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster joined by 14.9-inch infotainment.
