Overview
2023 Alpina B3 and D3s receive a fresh face, giving the recently refreshed BMW 3 Series a sharper look. Deliveries are to begin in October 2022, both models are available to order now in Germany. Both are available in sedan and wagon body styles.
What’s New?
The B3 now makes 488 hp and 730 Nm of torque from a more powerful 3.0L twin-turbo inline-six engine mated with an eight-speed automatic. These are the gains of 32 hp and 30 Nm over the previous generation. Alpina tuned the engine with flow-optimized turbine housings, larger intercooler, relocated radiators, and air ducts with an improved cross-section. The gearbox has an upgraded torque converter. With a top speed of 190 mph and 0-60 mph time of 3.6 seconds, the B3 sedan is a bit faster than the B3 wagon with a top speed of 188 mph and 0-60 mph run time of 3.8 seconds.

Engine & Performance
For the D3 S, a 3.0L twin-turbo inline-six makes 350 hp and 730 Nm of torque. The sedan reaches a top speed of 170 mph. The wagon hits 60 mph in 4.6 seconds and can achieve 168 mph. Both the B3 and D3 S are exclusively AWD and come with an electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential.

For the interior, both the cars house a 14.9-inch curved display and recolored gauges on the digital instrument panel to the company’s traditional blue and green scheme. The B3 sedan starts at €88,600 and the wagon at €89,900. The four door D3 S starts at €77,050 and the long-roof variant costs €78,450.
