Nissan Tekton Targets Creta’s Crown

Nissan has teased the Tekton SUV ahead of its July 9 debut, marking a major return to India’s midsize SUV segment.

Inspired by the Patrol, the Tekton features bold styling, connected LED lights and rugged design cues for strong road presence.

The cabin promises premium features including a 10.1-inch touchscreen, digital cluster, panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats.

Buyers can choose between a 100 hp turbo petrol, a 163 hp turbo petrol and a future strong-hybrid powertrain.

Sharing its platform with the Renault Duster, the Tekton offers similar mechanicals but a distinctly different design identity.

Expected pricing between ₹10.5 lakh and ₹18.7 lakh will place it directly against the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.

With premium features, bold styling and multiple engine options, the Tekton could emerge as a serious segment challenger.
