Jeep has geared up for the future with its electric lineup on the company revealed on the 4xe Day event. With today’s September 8 event, the automaker shed lights on its all-new range of Jeep electric SUVs. The new EVs will likely to enter production within the next two years. It is not new as the brand is also set up for an electrified future and are on the verge of converting their lineup with all-electric cars. With its new electric lineup, the American automaker will convert is lineup with four more EVs in US and Europe by 2025. Jeep will go all electric by 2030 in Europe and with 50% in the US.
Jeep has unveiled its new range of electric SUVs with a bright all-electric future. The range starts from a 2024 Jeep Recon, and 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S for global markets. Next comes the new 2023 Jeep Avenger, the brand eyes the European markets. With the new Jeep electric SUVs, the automaker did not share many details about the SUVs.
2024 Jeep Recon:
Starting with the 2024 Jeep Racon with its eye-popping looks will grab the most attention. The Recon offers removable doors that make the cabin breathable and less crampy with a lot of room to have. The SUV also features incredible trail capabilities with Jeep Selec-Terrain traction control, axle locking tech, and wide off-road tires. Despite the similarities, the Jeep Recon is not a replacement for the Wrangler as CEO Christian Meunier said. The 2024 Recon will enter production within two years and will be made in the US. We’ll know about its official specs and trim levels when the car launches officially.
2024 Jeep Wagoneer S:
Next comes the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S with its sleek looks that will be made for more practical and urban buyers. The Wagoneer S shares much of its design and other specs with the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. It will be built on the new STLA platform developed to only large EVs. The electric SUV will be built from the ground up with more spacious interior and high-tech cabin design. The Jeep Wagoneer S will come in 2024 and will be built in the United States. We can estimate the Wagoneer S will offer a dual motor setup with over 500 hp of power and a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds.
2023 Jeep Avenger:
Next comes the 2023 Jeep Avenger, a freshly designed compact SUV that has been leaked and caught with multiple spy shots. The Avenger will sit below the Renegade, and it will provide more features with its stunning design. The compact SUV is built for the European markets and will be sold in Japan and South Korea. The all-new Jeep Avenger will make its official debut at the Paris Motor Show scheduled for October 17. The brand hasn’t revealed any details about the specifications so we’ll wait till the official launch.
Jeep Grand Wagoneer 4xe:
Apart from all the electric SUVs above, Jeep will also introduce its Grand Wagoneer 4xe which will make its debut in 2025. The Wagoneer 4xe will be built for the US and Europe and will make its official debut at the Detroit Auto Show. The company’s North America CEO Jim Morrison teased the Grand Wagoneer 4xe Hybrid with an electric driving range of over 500 miles. Although he didn’t specify when the SUV will arrive, we expect the official debut of the Jeep Grand Wagoneer 4xe Hybrid after the Detroit Auto Show.
