Indian carmaker, Mahindra is betting big on electric cars and further electrifying its entire lineup. The automaker showed its upcoming concept cars like the B.07 and the B.09 electric EV based on the new platform. The company introduced its first electric SUV, XUV400 with deliveries starting in January 2023. Before that happens the automaker will still introduce some ICE-powered models with mild or strong hybrid tech. With the new Mahindra Scorpio N, the carmaker plans to launch more SUVs before it concerts its entire lineup to electric. These are the 5 upcoming Mahindra SUVs launching in India soon.

5. Mahindra XUV400
The company revealed its first electric car, the Mahindra XUV400. It comes with a unique new design with the brand’s new badge and all-electric powertrain. The new XUV400 EV will directly compete with the Tata Nexon EV and other EVs coming in the similar segment. The Nexon EV offers 465 km of range and supports DC fast charging with 0-80 per cent in under 30 minutes. We will know about the car’s specs ad features when the deliveries begin in January 2023
4. Mahindra XUV300 Facelift
The Mahindra XUV300 is not a new car but we expect the new facelifted version to be under development and coming out soon. The XUV300 facelift model is expected to come with visual and performance upgrades. Apart from a refreshed exterior, the facelift will also offer a reworked cabin with an improved interior and features. The car will offer the same engine tuned to make more power with 130 PS and 230 Nm of torque.
3. Mahindra Thar 5-Door
With the new XUV300 facelift, we are expecting the new Mahindra Thar 5-Door. The upcoming Mahindra Thar 5-Door will be unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo next year. With the extended wheelbase and seats, the new Thar will feature the same diesel and petrol engines. It will feature a 2.2-litre mHawk or a 2.0-litre Stallion engine with manual and automatic gearbox options.
2. Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus
Mahindra is also planning to launch the Bolero Neo Plus SUV by the end of 2022 or early 2023 in India. Mahindra’s upcoming SUV will feature some visual updates and performance improvements. The car will feature a 2.2-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder diesel engine that makes 120 PS and 95 PS with economy mode. The Bolero Neo Plus will feature different driving modes for different power outputs for increased fuel efficiency.
1. Mahindra KUV EV
With the XUV400 EV, the Indian carmaker is also planning to launch the KUV EV. The upcoming Mahindra KUV EV will be the company’s entry-level EV and will come at an affordable price. We expect the upcoming Mahindra SUV to offer over 250 km of range and fast charging support. The Mahindra KUV electric will compete with the Tata Punch EV when it comes out.
