Maruti Suzuki has revealed the new Grand Vitara to the Indian markets a few weeks ago. The car features a brand-new design, an updated cabin with a feature-rich interior and a new all-wheel drive variant. The Grand Vitara is set to go on sale at the end of this year and deliveries starting the end of 2022. The Suzuki Grand Vitara is built on a new Global C platform similar to the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The automaker hasn’t revealed the price of the car, we expect aggressive pricing due to high competition. We expect the entry-level trim to start at Rs. 9.30 Lakh while the top-spec all-wheel-drive model to cost over Rs.19 Lakh. Due to high-demand, the waiting period for the Grand Vitara has been increased to five months.

The upcoming 5-seater Maruti has already scored more than 53,000 pre-orders in the short period. But the car’s waiting period has been increased to almost five months according to gaadiwaadi. The car’s 43 per cent of the total booking accounts for the popular strong hybrid model that is under demand. While the 4WD equipped trim sees little demand, for now, the brand also projects high demand for the trim.
