Overview
The new 2022 Audi E-Tron. As a cool sci-fi gadget sounding name that it’s got. It features an all electric powertrain but carrying that midsize luxury SUV capabilities along with it. Much like it’s equivalent, the Audi E-Tron Sportback which got a bolder look and appearance for that matter. But like most EV which carry a more cool and simplistic futuristic design, No matter if it’s the luxurious interiors or the exterior of the new E-Tron and E-Tron Sportback, Audi skips that appeal and carries a much more sophisticated and serene design language. Both the cars are powered by a dual electric motor powertrain on both the axles which enables all wheel drive on both of them and helps the car fuel it’s instant acceleration and when at cruising down the roads and has a range of 218 and 222 miles on a single charge and comes with a decent fast charging capabilities to offset that.
What’s New For 2022 ?
Audi offers much more packages with both of the cars such as orange brake callipers and a new 21 inch wheel design. The top trim which will be called the Chronos Edition will be featured with LED matrix headlights. A black optic package, and with a bit of interior like the S-line with a grey paint and the orange brake calliper inside the 21 inch wheels. Rear seat side airbags, a new 360⁰ camera with driver assists system.
Motor, Performance, Top Speed & 0-60 MPH
The 2022 Audi E-Tron and E-Tron Sportback will have dual 95 kWh batteries on both the axles. In regular mode the cars will produce 365 horsepower and 561 newton metres of torque while making 402 horsepower and 664 newton metres of torque which can make the car go from 0-60 mph in just 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 124 mph. And both cars have a regenerating system and one pedal driving which is averaging.
Range, Charging & Battery Life
The E-Tron will have a range of 222 miles while the Sportback model will have a range of 218 miles, much less compared to its rivals such as the Jaguar I-Pace (234 miles) and the Model X Long Range (371 miles). Both of the cars will be featured with a 150 kW fast charging capability enabling the car to go from 5-80% in just 30 minutes. Also worth mentioning the conventional 240V DC chargers which can charge the car fully in a sub nine hours time.

Dimensions, Weight & Cargo
The new Audi E-Tron has length of 5014 mm, a width of 1976 mm, a height of 1673 mm and has a wheelbase of 2928 mm. It has a boot space of 520 Litres and towing capacity of 1814 kgs.
Price
The new Audi E-Tron will be starting at a price of $65,900. And we liked how the brand has managed to provide as much as they can offer with these two cars with good great interior packages like wheel sizes, heated front seats, four zone climate control, leather stitched upholstery, panoramic sunroof and the trim levels of both the cars.
