If you are in the market for a mid range car, there are plenty of options available today. The only difference between a $20,000 and a $35,000 car is that the options are a lot more when you’re in the mass market segment, especially under $35,000. It includes vehicles ranging from crossovers to sedans to SUVs, and even cars from premium marques.
1. Cadillac CT4 ($34,000)
This sedan looks smart and has a good road presence. Considering the price point and the fact that it sits at the bottom of the hierarchy, the 2022 CT4 doesn’t offer the utmost bang for money. This mid range car comes with a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-pot mill as standard. The Eight-speed automatic transmission helps produce 250 HP and 268 lb-ft of torque.
2. 2009 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Sedan ($25,500)
C-Class sounds a bit different from what you’d expect. The car has a 6.2 L V8 and has capability of making 500 HP. Mercedes-Benz called it the W204, and it went down in history as one of the most ruthless-sounding V8-powered cars. This mid range car comes with a tag of $25,500.
3. 2011 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 ($34,000)
This manual car comes with a 5.4L/550-hp )/510-lb-ft supercharged DOHC 32-valve V-8. The car comes with a 2 door or a 4 door option. This Ford is a manual generating 550HP. The mid range car has the capability of reaching to a 60 mph mark from a still stop in just 4.0 seconds.

5. 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII ($34,000)
There are very few cars that remain relatively affordable despite having an iconic reputation one of the is the Lancer Evolution VIII. The Evo VIII receives its power from a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-banger that produces a total of 271 HP and 295 lb-ft of torque. This mid range car can reach 0-60 mph in a little over 5 seconds.
6. 2007 Honda S2000 ($30,000)
The V-Tech powered engine is a 2.2L four cylinder producing 237 HP and 162 lb-ft. This car has been a part of many Hollywood movies. The six-speed manual transmission help the car achieve a torque of 162 lb-ft. The convertible has a top speed of 150 mph.

7. 2000 BMW Z3 M Coupe ($32,500)
Z3 M’s were powered by one of two engines. The Petrol: 1.8–1.9 L M43/M44 or a 2.0–3.0 L M52/M54. The 3.2-liter straight-six engine found in the E36 M3 generates 316 HP.
