Overview

Eric Patrick Clapton was born on 30 March 1945 in Ripley, Surrey, England. He is an English singer, songwriter, and one of the most important and influential guitarists of all time. Clapton was influenced by blues music from an early age and was gifted with a Hoyer Guitar on his 13th birthday. He used to practice this for long hours and record them with his portable Grundig reel-to-reel tape recorder.

He was expelled from Kingston College of Art for not focusing on art. And he began Street performing for money. In 1962 Clapton along with Dave Brock started performing in pubs around Surrey which is the time he was getting noticed. When he was 17 he joined a band called The Roosters and worked with them as a guitarist till 1963. He got the recognition and was awarded for his outstanding contribution to British music.

This one-off car is made just for Eric Clapton by Centro Stile Ferrari in collaboration with Pininfarina and the engineers from Maranello. It has a 4.5L naturally aspirated V8 engine that can make 562 hp at 9000 rpm. It has seven-speed sequential transmission. Its price is $4.7 million.

2. Ferrari Daytona

The Ferrari Daytona or officially the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 has a 4.4 L V12 engine that can make a 347 hp power at 7500 rpm and a 431 N⋅m of maximum torque at 5500 rpm. The top speed of the vehicle is 174 mph and can accelerate from 0-60mph in just 5.4 seconds. The original cost of this car was $19,500. But it got sold for $2,550,000 in a auction.

3. Ferrari 575M Maranello

Ferrari manufactured this car. Longitudinally-mounted Front 5.7L naturally aspirated V12 engine produces 508 hp. Speaking about the performance this vehicle can reach a maximum speed of 202 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 4.2 seconds. This model currently holds a value of about $217,890.

4. Ferrari 360 Spider

This Ferrari is a two-seater coupe. That is powered by a 3.6L V8 mid-engine that produces 400 hp at 8,500 rpm and 275 lb-ft of torque at 4,750 rpm. That engine is paired with either a six-speed manual or an F1 automated manual gearbox with paddle shifters. It can reach a top speed of 183 mph and can accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 4.5 seconds. 5. Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

This Ferrari is equipped with a 6.0L V12 engine which is capable of producing a maximum power output of 739 hp and 513 lb-ft of torque. This car can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 202 mph. It costs $310,000.

6. Porsche Cayenne Turbo

This is the only SUV you will ever find in his garage. Speaking more facts, This is the first offroad variant car and the first four-door car Porsche made. It is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.5L V8. That can sprint from 0-62 mph in 5 seconds and can move with a top speed of 171 mph. It costs $88,900.

7. Ferrari 512BB

Leonardo Fioravanti is the man who designed this car, and this was the first vehicle in a series of Ferraris to use a mid-mounted, flat-12 engine. Eric Clapton was so into this car that he actually bought three of them.

8. 1949 Chevrolet Advance-Design Pickup

This truck was launched in 1947 and discontinued in 1955. Eric had his truck modified. “Roy Brizio Hot Rod Shop” is the shop where he sent this for modification and they made several modifications chopping the top, the front fenders were moved forward and bent, the paint job, and many others.

9. 1949 Ford Coupe Hot Rod

This car is popularly called Shoebox ford and it is equipped with a 3.9L Flathead V8 engine. That is capable of generating a maximum power output of 100 horsepower. Clapton had this car restored.

10. 1932 Ford Victoria Hot Rod

Edsel Ford is the designer of this vehicle. The 1932 Ford Victoria has a Rousch V8 engine. Clapton had this restored to the original working condition with Roy Brizio Hot Rod Shop. This car produces a maximum power output of 65 horsepower and can reach a top speed of 76mph.

11. 1938 Cadillac Fleetwood

This is Eric Clapton‘s first car and he bought it for 750 British Pounds. Ben Palmer said he used to drive him in that car because Clapton doesn’t know how to drive at the time he bought it.

13. Porsche 911 Turbo

This Porsche has a 3.6L twin-turbocharged engine that produces a maximum power of 480 horsepower. It could accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and had a top speed of 194 mph. It costs $205,000. In 2004 Clapton got fined $950 for overspeeding with this vehicle.

14. 1968 Ferrari Dino 206 GT

This Ferrari is equipped with a transverse-mounted 2.0L, all-aluminum V6 engine. That is capable of producing a maximum power output of 160 hp. It could reach a top speed of 180 mph. Clapton had this for a very long time and auctioned it off in 2017 for a price of $1 million.
