Overview

The Ford E-Transit is the all-electric version of regular Transit. It comes with 67.0-kWh battery pack which is powered by an electric motor which generates 266 HP and connected to the rear axle and we expect that it will delivers 126 miles of driving range. For now, E-Transit is not available for passenger’s accommodation but only offered as a cargo van. But in future Ford will surely launch its passenger version. It competes against Mercedes Benz Sprinter, RAM ProMaster and Mercedes EQV.

It will be available with long list of features such as 12.0-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, Wi-Fi hotspot.

Lane departure warning with lane keep assist and automated emergency braking is offered as a standard and optional adaptive cruise control with traffic sign recognition.

The 2022 Ford E-Transit is available with 67.0-kWh battery pack which consists an electric motor producing 266 HP and 317 pound-feet of torque and connected to the rear wheels. We could expect that it will does 0 to 60 MPH in 6.4 seconds and have a top speed of 110 mph. There is strong possibility that Ford will retune the E-Transit’s suspension from regular Transit. As a cargo van it has an impressive payload capacity of 4290 pounds and towing capacity of 3800 pounds.

Ford claims that the E-Transit will deliver 126 miles of driving range with its 67.0-kWh battery pack. It will support recharge facility from AC as well DC power outlets.
