The 2022 Ford Ecosport is offered with standard all-wheel drivetrain and has towing capacity of 2000 pounds which is good as compared to rivals. In 2021, Ford announced the to stop the production of vehicles in India. That’s why the variant with front-wheel drivetrain and turbocharged three-cylinder engine is no longer available. Now it only available with four-cylinder naturally aspirated powertrain and all-wheel drivetrain resulting in $1595 costlier than before.

The 2022 Ford Ecosport comes with only one engine option which is non-turbo four-cylinder engine making out 166 HP mated to 6-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drivetrain. It drives much better at lower speeds but its cabin doesn’t filter out engine’s harshness and ride become noisy. But the good thing is that it offers towing capacity of 2000 pounds which is best as compared to other subcompact rivals. It takes 10.4 Seconds to reach fron 0 to 60 mph and have a top speed of 90 mph.
