Overview
The 2022 Ford Mustang is very engaging to drive and offered with various transformative performance packages. But its standard turbo-four engine isn’t that exciting and the interior quality is also not so good. You can convert Mustang into convertible or coupe. It comes in two engine options such as turbo-four and 5.0-litre V8 both are connected to rear axle. Both are mated to manual or 10-speed automatic transmission.

What’s New For 2022 ?
Ford is giving the variety of packages with Mustang to opt for. The all new White Edition package includes white badges, interior accents, paint and wheels. The Stealth Edition is offered with four-cylinder EcoBoost Premium variant which includes 19-inch wheels, clear tail-light lenses and black elements inside and outside.

The optional Sync3 software includes Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi hotspot and Sync connect.
According to NHTSA, it scored 5-star in safety rating. Mustang is available with optional safety features such as forward collision warning with automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist and blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert.

Engine, Top Speed, 0-60 mph & Performance
Mustang is offered with two engine options such as turbocharged EcoBoost four-cylinder engine which has enough power to live with. The optional High Performance package includes responsive EcoBoost engine and EcoBoost Handling package offered racetrack experience to the coupe. The GT models are powered by 5.0-litre V8 engine produces 450 HP mated to either 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission. Both engines are available only in rear-wheel drivetrain. It manages to cross 0 to 60 MPH in just 4.5 seconds and have a top speed of 155 mph. The steering is perfectly light in Comfort mode and gains appropriate weight in other two driving modes due to its electrically assisted steering. Its modernized chassis gives comfortable ride quality.

The 2022 Mustang powered by turbo-four with 10-speed automatic transmission delivers 21 mpg in city and 32 mpg on highway. The V8 powered engine gives 15 mpg in city while 24 mpg on highway.
