Hyundai Exter Specifications and Details
Hyundai has officially launched the Hyundai Exter, its smallest and most affordable SUV in the Indian market with first in-class features. With introductory prices ranging from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10 lakh, the Exter sits below the Venue in Hyundai’s SUV lineup. It offers segment-first features like a sunroof and dashcam, and competes with rivals such as the Tata Punch, Citroen C3, and Maruti Ignis. The Exter is available in five trims, sharing its underpinnings with the Grand i10 Nios and Aura, and offering both petrol and CNG fuel options.
Hyundai Exter Features
The Exter has textured accents and flared wheel arches, as well as Hyundai’s parametric design language. The daytime running lights and tail-lamps have unique LED treatments. The Exter’s interior is all-black, with a computerised instrument cluster. Higher trim levels include semi-leatherette seats and segment-first amenities such as a sunroof and a factory-installed dashcam. Automatic headlights, keyless entry, an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, and six airbags and ESC are all included.
Hyundai Exter Engine and Performance
The Exter is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine shared with other models, which produces 83hp and 114Nm of torque. It may be combined with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. In CNG trim, it generates 69hp and 95.2Nm and is exclusively available with the manual transmission. With the CNG option, fuel efficiency ratings range from 19.2kpl to an astounding 27.10kpl.

Pricing
Hyundai has revealed the Exter SUV, with pricing ranging from Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 10 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). Only manual varieties are currently priced, providing clients with a broad choices. The Exter, which is new to the market, offers affordability and adaptability.
