First introduced at the 1948 Amsterdam Motor Show, the Land Rover Series 1 became a popular hit. Next year marks the 75th anniversary of the iconic off-roader and to celebrate that the company has planned great things. Tata Motors-owned brand is launching a limited edition model for both 90 and 110 variants.
Design: Exterior & Interior
The 75th Edition Defender has been painted in Grasmere Green on the exterior which also extends to wheels and inside the cabin. The door cards and the dashboard highlights the green accents to match the exterior paint color. The seats are wrapped in Resist Ebony with the center console covered in the most robust fabric called Robustec. The Defender also gets a new “75 Years” sticker on the tailgate to mark the 75th anniversary.
The Land Rover 75th Limited Edition is based on the HSE trim with a ton of stuff added to it. It includes matric LED headlights, a heads-up display, a 360-degree camera, and three-zone climate control. More features include memory seat function, wireless charging, and an 11.4-inch Pivi Pro infotainment screen. The Defender offers a standard fabric roof with a folding and sliding panoramic top.

Land Rover Defender 75th offers additional options with the Defender, including all-season tires and a deployable tow bar. The Defender will offer a D300 diesel mild-hybrid engine and P400 gasoline engines with no changes. The company will also offer the P400e plug-in hybrid powertrain joining the Limited Edition lineup.

The Land Rover Defender 75th Limited Edition will start at 85,995 Euros for the Defender 90 and 89,995 for the 110. The company will also offer a new special edition lifestyle collection that carries the Grasmere Green theme.
