Maruti Suzuki has launched one of the most beautiful compact SUV, Fronx. The Fronx firstly showcased at the Auto Expo this January. The vehicle is completely based on the Maruti Baleno, which is one of the most successful hatchback by brand but Fronx is an compact SUV, so the ground clearance, height, width and length will be different. It has two engine options 1.2-liter naturally aspirated four cylinder petrol and a 1.0-liter turbocharged inline-3 cylinder. both of the engines are really powerful and silent. Gearbox options include a five speed manual unit, an AMT unit and a six speed torque converted automatic unit.
Performance & Mileage
If you talk about the performance of this vehicle then it can generate really satisfying numbers. With a naturally aspirated 4-cylinder it makes 89bhp and 113 NM of torque and with turbo 3-cylinder it makes 99bhp and 147 NM of torque. Fronx comes in two fuel option, Petrol and CNG. The CNG fuel option is only available in 1.2-liter four cylinder powertrain variant sigma and delta. Also the CNG variant is only available with five speed manual transmission. While running this vehicle on CNG fuel it makes 77.5hp and 98.5 NM of torque. Maruti Suzuki claims that with this fuel it can give over 28.51km/kg of mileage which is pretty good.

The starting price of Maruti Suzuki Fronx is ₹8.54 lakh rupee which goes up to ₹14.95 lakh for the top end variant. The price of CNG variant is ₹9.63 lakh for Sigma and ₹10.59 lakh for Delta variant. The price for CNG variant is ₹95,000 costlier then the regular petrol variant. The new compact SUV by Maruti Suzuki is really insane at performance, features and looks.
