Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG Will Launch In December With 26.10 Km/Kg
Maruti Suzuki is increasing models in its CNG lineup after Swift, Brezza its time for their full size luxury SUV Grand Vitara. It likely to see more models to join its dual fuel treatment in coming time. just Few days back Maruti introduced CNG based Baleno and XL6. Baleno CNG will compete with Toyota Glanza CNG which introduced earlier just before the Baleno. Also the bookings for Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder begins too which will compete with this Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
The launch of this brand new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara is schedule for next month. This will be the first ever Maruti car in India to get three fuel options regular petrol mild-hybrid, a strong hybrid and a CNG. Also you can say that this is the first most fuel efficient SUV by Maruti Suzuki. So now the customers who want fuel efficient SUV but can’t afford strong hybrid variant now can go for the CNG option with approximately same mileage.
With the launch of this CNG variant the Vitara expand its portfolio and target even more customers. If the launch of this SUV happens before Brezza CNG then Grand Vitara will be the first ever CNG SUV by Maruti Suzuki. This beautiful SUV gets the same 1.5-liters inline four-cylinder K15C mild-hybrid petrol engine with CNG. This same powertrain is use in Ertiga CNG and in XL6 CNG before. It is expect that Grand Vitara CNG will generate same power as both of these vehicle 88 bhp and 98.5 NM of Torque and 15 HP less powerful with 38 NM less torque in CNG Variant. It will pair with only five speed manual transmission option. The variant details will come one the vehicle launch officially next month.
The price of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara CNG will be around Rs 75,000 costlier as compare to the basic mild-hybrid variant. Exact figures will be with us next month.
