Maruti Suzuki launched the new Jimny Thunder Edition in India starting at Rs 10.74 lakh
Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Jimny Thunder Edition in India. The new edition of the Jimny offers a more affordable option with cosmetic enhancements compared to the standard model. The Thunder Edition is available in both Zeta and Alpha variants, priced between Rs 10.74 lakh and Rs 14.05 lakh (ex-showroom). The limited-edition model is attractively priced and offers a discount ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2 lakh compared to the equivalent standard Jimny, depending on the variant.

Cosmetic Enhancements:
The Thunder Edition boasts several cosmetic enhancements, including a silver-finished faux bull-bar style front bumper, bonnet trim pieces, etc. More changes include metal plates on the fenders, door decals, door cladding, a metal skid plate, door visors, and additional trimming on the wing mirror caps. Exterior detailing is reminiscent of the ‘Summit Seeker’ package available for the standard Jimny.
Interior Features:
The cabin remains largely unchanged from the standard Jimny and retails all its features. The Jimny Thunder Edition receives cosmetic enhancements from Maruti Suzuki’s accessories list, including special seat covers.
Mechanical Specifications:
No changes have been made to the mechanical aspects of the Jimny Thunder Edition. The SUV offers the same 1.5-litre K15 petrol engine that produces 101 bhp and 134 Nm of peak torque. Buyers can opt for a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission, and all variants come with four-wheel drive with low range.
Limited Period Offer:
The Thunder Edition is available for a limited period, adding exclusivity to the model.
