If the mid-size luxury sports SUV isn’t your kind of taste then the new 2022 Maserati Grecale could be the best compact SUV for the specs carrying it’s beautiful Italian looks with it as the leaked prototype images shown and looks like it won’t carry the much higher price like it’s other cousins from the company. And will come with a turbocharged set of engines for smooth and better performance and a great competition to the German rivals such as the Porsche Macan and the BMW X3, one of the best cars in the segment.

What’s New For 2022 ?
This 2022 Maserati Grecale will be an all new car and will be competing in the sub compact SUV segment, carrying a significant design with unique curves as the signature looks of Maserati have been in the years. And will hit production likely in the spring of 2022 and buyers would be able to buy it at the end of this year.
Engine, Top Speed, 0-60 mph & Performance
Well we aren’t sure about the engine specs of this upcoming Grecale. But we estimate that just like it’s other cousins from the lineup. The new midsize Maserati will have either a turbo four, or a turbo six for the base model, and going up have a V8 built by Ferrari. As this new Grecale will be manufactured in the same factory as the popular Alfa Romeo Stelvio, so we could have an idea about it’s performance and engine figures. And if that so, it could easily go from 0-60 mph in about 5-6 seconds with the top Trofeo model being even faster than that. And the company also plans for a hybrid model as well as a full all electric drivetrain model coming after some time.
Fuel Economy | Mileage
As it will share the same platform, we could expect a fuel economy of about 24 mpg combined while the top spec Trofeo model will deliver 19-22 mpg.
Price
As the rumour suggests the new Maserati Grecale could be the least expensive Maserati ever. Coming with a starting price of around $50,000. But we’ll wait as the brand will share the official details in the coming months.
