Overview
The 2022 GLE-class offers latest technology, spacious interiors and off-road capabilities like the other Mercedes mid-size SUVs. It has spacious first and seconds row sitting but optional third row is quite cramped and feels comfortable only for childrens. It is available in variety of engine options to choose from such as it has turbocharged four-cylinder engine starts from its base variant. The turbo inline-six and twin-turbo V8 are also available in top variants.
What’s New For 2022 ?
The automatic high-beam headlamps are now standard. Customers can choose from new two tone Espresso Brown and Black or White and Black leather upholstery options.
Price & Features
The pricing for Mercedes-Benz GLE-class starts from $56,750 for GLE350, $64,550 for GLE450 and GLE580 will priced at $80,850.
The features offered in optional packages are Burmester audio system, 360-degree camera, 115-volt power outlet, heated front armrests and upper door panels, heated seats in seconds row and four-zone climate control, dual 12.3-inch infotainment display with MBUX software.
It got 5-start safety rating from NHTSA. It comes with automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert are standard. Adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous driving mode is also available.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE-class measures 4924mm long, 1947mm wide and has 1772mm of height with 2995mm long wheelbase.
Engine, 0-60mph, Top Speed & Performance
The entry level variant GLE350 is powered by turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 255 HP mated to 9-speed automatic transmission connected to either rear axle or both axles (4Matic). Now heads towards upper variant which is GLE450 which comes with all-wheel drive as a standard and powered by turbocharged inline-six with 48-volt hybrid powertrain makes 362 HP. The GLE350 can sprints 0 to 60 MPH in 6.6 seconds while GLE450 does this in just 5.3 seconds and has a Top Speed of 155 MPH. The top variant GLE580 comes with 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 engine with 48-volt hybrid powertrain generating 504 HP. All variants has the option for air suspension to improve overall ride and handling.
