It rumored that Mercedes-Benz has discontinued V8 engines from its line-up. That means GLS580 which is powered by twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 engine makes 483 HP will be discontinued. The GLS450 is now available with AMG line appearance package and blacked-out night appearance package. Cirrus Silver paint is now available for option with Espresso Brown black leather upholstery.

The 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLS450 starts from $78,250 USD.
The executive rear seat plus package include massaging seats, wireless charging pad, tablet controller for infotainment system, plusher headrests, side-impact airbags. Some other features are two huge 123-inch display with MBUX software, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, in-dash navigation, 3D Burmester audio system with 26 speaker arrangement.
The safety features offered are automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection as a standard, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist and adaptive cruise control with semi-autonomous driving mode.

All models are comes with standard air suspension but buyer have the option for new system called as E-Active Body control in which the front camera scan the bumps and adjust suspension according to bumps that’s why driver won’t feel those road imperfections.

According to EPA ratings, the GLS450 delivers 19 mpg in city while 23 mpg on highway and 21 mpg combined.
