The upcoming 2023 Spyker C8 Preliator is the Dutch manufacturer’s newest supercar with a rich history in automotive and motorsports. Preliator is Latin for a fighter, which is exactly what the car looks like, a fighter jet with no wings. The brand keeps a lot of its old cues like the emblem with a propeller with a wheel which is a throwback to when they build airplanes. Modern design is also adapted into the predator which can be seen with running lights and vents, Aluminium splitters and skirts on the sides, and the turbine style wheels with gold calipers. Written on the sides are the words “NULLA TENACI INVIA ESTIVA” which translates to for the tenacious no road is impassable.

An Audi engine and a lotus suspension makes up for a treat of a mid-engine supercar. With the C8 Preliator a person is going to be getting a super rare car (just 50 in production) with a luxurious cabin and a fighter jet style interior. Another trademark of Spyker is the exposed gear change mechanism and is completely bespoke.
Engine Specifications & Performance
Originally supposed to release with a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-plane crankshaft V8 by Koenigsegg making 600 hp which did not happen. Spyker went ahead with a 4.2-liter supercharged V8 sourced from Audi which makes 518 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. This is mated to either a manual 6-speed from Getrag or a 6-speed automatic from ZF. The predator does the 0-60 mark in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 201 mph. An all-aluminum all-aluminum power-to-weight space frame chassis provides stability and optimal power-to-weight ratio.
Fuel Economy & Dimensions
With a fuel tank of 15.1 US gallons and the V8 engine being supercharged one can only expect low numbers for the fuel economy. The pricing of the car is seen at 385,000 which puts it ahead of a Ferrari 488 Pista. The dimensions (in inches) are 182.2 х 76.9 х 47.3 with a wheelbase of 107.3 inches. The Car offers 4.8 cubic feet of cargo space which explains this car is not for any useful purposes.
