Although it’s uncertain if this hybrid powertrain will be available in India due to cost considerations, Suzuki may also offer the new Swift with its 1.0-liter BoosterJet petrol engine, known from the Fronx. The new powertrain could enable impressive fuel efficiency of 35 to 40 kmpl, with potential use in the upcoming Dzire model slated for the latter half of 2024. Additionally, Suzuki plans to introduce an updated Swift Sport internationally, focusing on improved emissions compliance and enhanced performance.
Pricing
The anticipated pricing for the fourth-generation 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift is expected to start at approximately Rs 6 lakh. The upcoming Swift is likely to offer two engine-transmission combinations, with tentative ex-showroom prices ranging from around Rs. 6.50 lakh to Rs. 10.50 lakh.
