The Car Collection of Patrick Dempsey
You may recall him from the longest-running drama series Grey’s Anatomy as Dr Derek Shepherd. Patrick Dempsey has a very successful acting career. He started by playing successful roles in the shows such as Brighton Beach Memoirs, On Golden Pond and Torch Song Trilogy. Dempsey was recognized after his big-screen debut in Sweet Home Alabama in 2002. What he loves more than acting is racing. Even so, he owns a racing team which secured a podium at the Tudor United Sports Car C’ship and 5th place in the 24 Hours of LeMans in a Porsche 911 RSR. 1. Porsche 356
Patrick Dempsey holds the perfect vintage car in his collection which indeed is a Porsche. The 1965 Porsche 3561 came with an air-cooled flat-four engine that made over 35 horsepower. Most of these rare356’s sold for over $100k but this one has a sentimental value attached to it which he appreciates.
2. Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Dempsey is a hardcore racing fan, not just that, he had also competed in various international championships and owns a racing team. That is all reflected in his Porsche 911 GT3 RS, which is considered one of the most thrilling cars Porsche ever made. It shells out a crazy 520 hp with its 4.0-liter flat-six engine, resulting in a one-of-a-kind driving experience.
3. Jaguar XK120
Once called the fastest production car, a 160 hp twin-valve six-cylinder engine powers the Jaguar XK120. The XK120 can achieve a top speed of 120 mph which was believed crazy at that time. The classic vintage Jaguars really inspired many automakers on how a car should be made.

Again a classic Porsche in his collection and certainly not the last one. He owns a modified 1982 Porsche 911 SC in his collection. The 911 SC came with a 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine which produced 172 hp. He has customised his classic Porsche to deliver the best performance that it can.

7. Porsche 911 Targa
The Porsche 911 Targa is one of the most iconic cars in the company’s line-up. It has a twin-turbo 3.0-liter flat-six engine which produces over 443 hp. The 911 Targa can accelerate from zero to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 188 mph.
