Overview
Jaguar F-Type is a two-door grand tourer that was in production since 2013. The main reason for making this vehicle is to compete with the Porsche Boxster with a very lightweight body. Initially Geoff Lawson along with his team (Keith Helfet, Adam Hatton, and Pasi Pennanen) of three designers took up the job to make this vehicle. But after the unfortunate death of Geoff Lawson. Ian Callum was appointed as the head designer in 1999. And a concept model was produced 2000. Eventually, the vehicle publicized at the Sundance film festival in London.

1. The Beautiful Styling
Designed by Ian Callum and his team, this Jaguar looks gorgeous. The first model was showcased to the public at the 2000 Detroit Auto Show. Built on JLR D6a platform both the roadster and fastback coupé has the same design. The exterior color choices make the vehicle look more beautiful.
2. The Engines
This vehicle has three different engine options 2.0 L Ingenium turbocharged I4, 3.0L supercharged Jaguar AJ126 V6, and 5.0 L supercharged Jaguar AJ133 V8 engine. The flat-four engine produces 300 hp of power output. The V6 produces 340hp, 380 hp, and 400hp. The V8 produces 444 hp, 480 hp, 542 hp, and 567 hp which is insanely powered.
3. The Driving Dynamics
With the kind of power the engine produces, the vehicle feels like flying but it sticks to the ground even at the twisties. The 8-speed ZF automatic transmission is much helpful to give the driving experience that everyone desires.
4. It Is A Proper Sports Car
This Jaguar is made to be a good sports car from the first mode. Different from some of the vehicles changed their making to get the sporty look. Designed to compete against the Porsche 911 this vehicle is definitely a proper sports car, especially the roadster with a perfect design.

This vehicle made its debut in 2014 and the company added a new flat four-cylinder engine in 2018 along with some changes in the design of the vehicle. And after that, the vehicle got a major update very recently in 2021. The vehicle got some engine changes and made limitations to certain countries. The vehicle came with a redesigned front end and many updates in the equipment used.
7. The Different Personalities
This vehicle with its powerful engine is capable of doing the job of being a sports car. It can reach a huge top speed and the acceleration is insane. This vehicle also does the job of being a cool cruiser that everybody likes to drive especially with the premium interiors this vehicle looks stunning.
8. The Sound The Exhaust Makes
Along with the powerful engines, beautiful exterior design, and interiors, this vehicle makes an exhaust sound. That can never be matched with any other. Even with the flat four-cylinder engine this vehicle makes a tremendous exhaust sound that you love driving.
Reasons Not To Buy
1. The Firm Suspension
Although this vehicle has powerful engines and comfortable seats. It is still the suspension that makes the vehicle uncomfortable to do long drives. With this hard suspension, it is never an easy ride. There were many complaints regarding this issue. And the company made some changes in the 2021 model, but it still remains the same.
2. The Terrible JLR Track Record
Many of the components in the F-Type are shared with the Jaguar Land Rover. Which has very bad reliability ratings for its vehicles and the parts they use. And this is the reason why you need to stay away from this vehicle if you don’t want to risk your vehicle’s reliability.
