Homegrown automaker Tata Motors released a teaser video on their Instagram showcasing the 2024 Tata Safari Facelift. The updated model of the new Safari will be launching soon with booking to open from October 6th.
Overview
As the facelift edition suggests, the new Safari will offer an updated design with uplifted front fascia. The front holds the new sleeker headlights and the connecting LED DRLs similar to the Harrier Facelift released previously. The teased video shows a new copper shade paint color with a new set front grille which makes it look modern and bigger. As Tata’s best full-size SUV, the facelifted Safari looks different in terms of overall looks compared to the upcoming Harrier facelift.
Engine & Performance
The 2024 Tata Safari Facelift will offer similar specs as the old Safari, we expect more refinement in terms of engine performance. The SUV will pack a powerful 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder Kryotech diesel engine that makes 167.67 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The 2024 Safari comes paired with a manual/ automatic 6-speed transmission with front-wheel drive. The current-gen Safari can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 12.54 seconds and has a top speed of 165 km/h.
Price & Availability
The 2024 Tata Harrier Facelift will be priced similarly to the current-gen Harrier as the Nexon Facelift. It will start at around Rs. 15.85 Lakh for the base trim and will go up to Rs. 25.21 Lakh for the top-end Dark Edition variant.
Apart from the new facelifted Safari, Tata Motors will also unveil the Harrier Facelift at the same time. The new Tata Safari will sport a completely new design with cosmetic updates to the interior. Stay tuned for more info.
