The MG Mulan Triumph Edition, a high-performance all-electric version of the MG4 hatchback will join the lineup soon. The MG4 is currently available with two configuration levels with different outputs. The rear electric motor makes 168 hp and 184 lb-ft (250 Nm) of torque. The single motor makes over 200 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque. Although the hatch’s flagship variant is only announced for the Chinese market and may come to the UK later.
Specifications & Performance
The upcoming MG Mulan Triumph Edition will offer two electric motors with all-wheel drive that makes a combined 449 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque. The Mulan will be able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in under 3.8 seconds with an estimated top speed of 130 mph. The MG Mulan will offer a 64-kWh battery that will deliver a range of up to 285 miles (460 km). With the beefed-up brakes and new orange calipers, the MG Mulan will deliver a fast performance with a lot of rapidness. The EV will come with a new 18-inch wheel with grippier 235/45 Bridgestone tires for better cornering and agile performance.
Design & Interior
Inside, the new MG Mulan Triumph Edition will offer updates and a nicely-appointed cabin with new touches all over the interior. The EV will come with standard Alcantara sports seats with 6-way electric adjustment and two-way lumbar support. The steering wheel is also new and fitted with Alcantara. The MG Mulan packs a new 7-inch digital gauge cluster along with a new 10.25-inch infotainment display. The EV will also feature an air purification system, and a 360-degree parking camera system.
