Tata’s Upcoming SUVs Will Get The New 180 HP Turbocharge Petrol Engine
Upcoming Tata Motor SUVs like Sierra, Curvv and new generation Harrier will get the all now powertrain. This 1.5-liters Turbocharge Petrol Engine generates over 180 Horsepower. Tata Motors had a great time at the 2023 Auto Expo as they have shown some crazily designed vehicle like Sierra and Curvv. They catch the attention of the people. Some of the major launches or showcases are Sierra EV, Altroz Racer, Curvv, Harrier EV and Avinya. Also they have shown the CNG vehicle like Punch and Altroz but they are not much catchy as the other once.
The Tata Motors currently have engine options like 1.5-liters Diesel, 1.2-liters petrol and the 2.0-liters diesel engine, all of the engines are source from Fiat extensively. While the manufacturer have some serious plans for the electric vehicle which is obviously the future of automotive. They currently have ICE portfolio which will be expend sooner and they have more plans to add some other powertrain options in the lineup.
The all new Tata Sierra will firstly expected to launch in a 1.5-liters Petrol engine option. On the other hand Tata Sierra EV concept is underpinned on modified ALFA platform GEN-2. It is a strong possibility that new Sierra will get a powerful petrol engine which could get a 1.5-liters direct injection turbocharge inline four cylinder engine. Which will make power up to 160-180 horsepower.
With all this new powertrain options the Tata Motors will get challenge to Mahindra. The new powertrain or engine will be fitted in Harrier and coupe SUV Curvv. The Coupe SUV Curvv could feature 1.5L direct injection petrol engine as well as 1.2-liters direct injection turbo petrol engine which makes it a bit more interesting. The upcoming Tata Harrier EV will get dual motor setup and 4×4 drivetrain. Also the 1.5-liters Petrol engine will join the options too. And the 7 seater Safari will get the same options as Harrier.
