Japanese automobile manufacturers are one of the largest manufacturers in the world. The Japanese automotive industry increased very quickly when they started making vehicles for both domestic use and export, from the 1970s to the 1990s. They have produced many dominant cars over the years. They came up really good during the tough times when there was heavy competition from neighboring countries. And in 2008 Toyota have become the world’s number one car manufacturer from Japan suppressing GM. Currently, Japan is ranked number three after China and America. Here are a few cars, produced by Japanese manufacturers, that seem to be normal but have insane power under the hood.
1. 2010 Nissan Altima 3.5 SR
This is a family sedan with a 3.5 L DOHC V6 engine. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 270 hp at 6,000 rpm and 258 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm. The vehicle is a standard front-wheel drive. This vehicle can accelerate from 0-60mph in just under 6sec and has a top speed of 147mph. With such power, the vehicle can cover 1/4 mile in 14.5 sec.
2. Mazda Mazdaspeed6
This vehicle has a 2.3L turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with a direct fuel injection. The engine gives a maximum power output of 274 hp and 280 lb-ft of torque which helps the vehicle to accelerate from 0-60mph in 5.4 seconds. The engine is linked to a 6-speed manual transmission. The vehicle has a top speed of 149 Mph.

This vehicle has a base price of $43,195. This has a 3.6L SOHC 24-valve V-6 engine that is capable of generating a maximum power output of 305 bhp at 6300 rpm and a torque of 273 lb-ft at 5000 rpm.
