2022 Jaguar F-type P450 lineup goes all V-8, which replaces the previous supercharged V6 and turbocharged inline-four. The F-type P450, which now serves as the entry model will be the last ICE version before the brand goes all-electric.
What’s New?
As history suggests, manual transmission paired with a V8 and an RWD is a driver’s choice. This new one is so neutral around the corners, that you won’t feel a difference whether it’s an AWD or RWD. The latest RWD F-type has been tuned more for greater handling at moderately high speeds. The cabin is splattered with leather, along with well-aged rich materials and the latest digital screens. The console features toggle switches, rotary climate controls, and a grab handle dividing driver and the passenger.

But there is one con that makes it frustrating, i.e., one can’t see the back when the spoiler rises, blocking a third of the tiny rear glass, with the Jaguar logo reflecting the sun directly into the eyes. however, subtle details like, the parking sensors blend into the lower tail without showing any bumps.

The F-type P450’s V8 engine now puts out 444 hp and 580 Nm of torque. Combined with a monster engine, along with the limited-slip differential, larger brakes, and 20-inch wheels, the F-type justifies its $8300 premium over last year. The Jaguar F-Type claims a 4.4-second 0-60 mph run time for the base and 3.5 seconds for the R. The P450 has a top speed of 177 mph.

The F-Type base version with options will cost $86,850.
