Overview
The first Mazda to ever be offered with a plug-in hybrid engine and a rear-wheel-drive system, the new Mazda CX-60 has been revealed & Visually, the all-new SUV is quite similar to the CX-5 with the same sculpted front end and eye-shaped taillights. The CX-60‘s new architecture is apparent from its proportions and the long dash-to-axle ratio. Overall, it’s shaped like a longer CX-50 with a much longer hood.

Wheels & Tires
If we talk about the wheels Of Mazda CX-60, you’ll get a choice of 18-20 inch alloy wheels. There are a few creases to give it a more purposeful stance too looking more muscular than your average boxy SUV.
Interior
Mazda’s interiors were already decent, but the CX-60‘s cabin looks to be a level above current ones. Thanks to elegant materials for the dashboard and seats including woven textiles, Nappa leather, and wood trim.

Drivetrain & Drive Modes
While the CX-60′s platform is rear-wheel-drive, but the plug-in hybrid model will be all-wheel-drive only, with the front wheels engaged via a multi-plate clutch. There are multiple drive modes including Normal, Sport, Off-Road, Towing (with a towing capacity of 5,500 pounds), and, for the PHEV version, an EV mode.
Engine, Performance, Top Speed & 0-60 mph
2022 Mazda CX-60 comes standard with a plug-in-hybrid powertrain that uses a 2.5L petrol engine and a 134 hp electric motor. The total output is 323 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. With an electric range of 39 miles thanks to its 17.8-kWh battery pack. An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard. This Mazda CX-60 can go from 0-60 in just 5.2 Seconds and have a top speed of 145 Mph (Expected).

Mileage
2022 Mazda CX60 delivers 41 mpg in city, 38 mpg on highway and 40 mpg combined which far ahead than the all-wheel drive.
Price & Availability
Mazda will begin production of the CX-60 at Hofu Plant No. 2 in Yamaguchi prefecture on March 11, 2022. And Mazda dealerships in Europe started accepting pre-orders for the model on March 8. However, prices haven’t been announced yet as this will sit at the top of Mazda’s range, somewhere close to $66,000.
