The new McLaren GT isn’t the most Grand Touring sports car to delight a buyer’s enthusiasm, but it’s performance oriented aerodynamic looks fuels at what this British automaker is trying to achieve with this new exotic GT. It adds a lot more flavour and drama with it’s demeanour looks and is focused on giving out luxury and a comfortable riding experience. Of Course the added level of athleticism and a thrilling driving with it’s growling V8 are some of the perks of owning a McLaren as the added benefits. But it’s hefty six figure price tag prevents the buyers from comparing it with the Porsche’s and the Audi’s of the world.
What’s New For 2022 ?
The new McLaren GT goes with no changes as it goes with this model year of 2022.
Engine, Transmission, 0-60, Top Speed & Performance
Just like every exotic supercar, the McLaren GT is no different with all of it’s charm coming with it’s 4.0 Litre twin-turbocharged V8 which makes an enormous 612 hp and 465 lb ft of torque paired with a seven speed dual clutch automatic transmission which sends all that raging power down to it’s rear wheels. And the McLaren’s are remembered for their crazy acceleration and fast speeds, so this one’s no joke too, carrying that same DNA this GT can blast off from 0-60 mph in a crazy 2.8 seconds with it’s added launch control feature and can achieve a top speed of 203 mph.
